An informational meeting to discuss the restoration of a Westfield house by Chautauqua Area Habitat for Humanity is scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, at First Presbyterian Church in Westfield.
The attendees of this informational meeting will discuss rehab for an existing vacant house at 35 Backman Avenue in the village, according to Mike Ricketts, person in charge of the mid-county Habitat.
Needed for this project, which will begin April 15 or 22, are volunteers to help with the renovations, which will be discussed at the meeting. In addition, needed are those who can supply and prepare refreshments plus those who can give financial support. Ricketts emphasized that no special skills are required.
