Lindsay Thompson and Andy Scott were united in marriage on July 25, 2015 at Sunshine Valley Gardens in Piedmont, SD. The ceremony was officiated by Jesse Hamer, friend of the couple. Lindsay is the daughter of Daniel and Patricia Thompson of Portland, NY and Andy is the son of Dean and Kathy Scott of Rapid City, SD.
The bride wore a strapless, ivory, tea-length gown, accented with a bodice of embellished tulle. She complimented her dress with a jeweled bouquet of red and white roses, peonies, baby's breath, and dusty miller, hand-tied with gray satin ribbon. The bride was escorted by her father.
Tara Jakse, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Laura Scott, sister of the groom, as well as Myrna Becker, Christie Green, and Jessica Johnson, friends of the bride. Each attendant wore a cherry colored knee length dress, of varying styles, and carried ivory bouquets, similar to the bride's.

Travis Wisenbarger, friend of the groom served as best man. Brandon Glen, Tim Beck, and Josh Embree, friends of the groom, served as groomsmen.
Rylan Jakse, niece of the bride, was the flower girl, and Elliott Jakse, nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer.
A reception immediately followed at Minerva's Restaurant, Ramkota Inn where the happy couple was able to toast their vows, along with their family and friends. Attendees of the wedding travelled from New York, Texas, Virginia, Florida, California, and South Dakota.
The couple resides in Box Elder, SD where Lindsay teaches music. She is a graduate of Brocton Central School and earned her Master's degree at SUNY Fredonia. Andy graduated from Central High School in Rapid City, SD, attended SDSU, and is employed by DC Scott Surveyors. They recently returned from their honeymoon in Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
