Recreational Tennis matches for High School students thru adults are being organized Mondays at 6:15 pm behind the Westfield School.
Annual Swim Meet
The Annual Welch Field Swim Meet will be held on Saturday, August 16. For more information or to pre-register, contact the Pool Office at 326-4441. Pre-registration is not required but is requested.
FALL SOCCER SIGNUPS
There is still time to signup for Fall Local Youth Soccer. Applications can be picked up and turned in at the Village of Westfield window in the Eason Hall, 23 Elm St. Applications can be mailed in. Signups are for children ages 4 through 11. (For children turning 4 by August 1 and not turning 12 until Oct. 26). Scholarships are available. SKATE PARK OPEN
The Skate Park is open for use Monday thru Friday between 9 am and 5 pm, weather and availability of supervision permitting. Telephone 326-4441 to confirm availability.

Annual Youth Triathlon
The annual Youth Triathlon will be held on Friday, August 8 at the Welch Field at 1 pm. The Pool will be closed from 1 pm to 5 pm that day. Telephone 326-4441 or register at the Pool Office.
Tour of Chautauqua Bike Ride Reminder
The 31st annual Tour of Chautauqua Bike Ride will be held on Saturday, August 9, originating and finishing in front of the Eason Hall, 23 Elm St. Westfield, NY. The mass start begins at 9 am. Water and refreshment stops and sag wagon services are provided. Helmets are required. Recreational tours of courses of 25, 40, 62, 75 and 100 miles are offered, with a meal at the finish. Entries postmarked by
July 21 are $18 and include a T-shirt. Entries after July 21 and the day of the ride are $20 and include a Tour of Chautauqua water bottle. Call 716-326-4243 for more information. Registration blanks can be picked up at the Eason Hall or visit our website www.westfieldrec.org.

October 11 Trip
We are planning a trip to the 20th anniversary of the Old-Fashioned Christmas in the Woods in Columbiana, Ohio on Oct 11. Here is your opportunity to shop for holiday and traditional crafts from some of the country's best craftspeople. There will be 200 of the country's top craftspeople and artisans demonstrating and selling their handcrafted items, a large variety of food booths as well as live entertainment, in a charming wooded setting with graveled pathways for shopper's convenience.
