Senior Golf Scramble

On Monday, July 22, 21 golfers journeyed to the Cable Hollow Golf course for an 18 hole competition.

Placing first was the team of Jeff Wagner, Gary Farley and Leroy Vahl with a score of 207. In second

place was the quartet of Sam Arcadipane, Rog Kolpien, Doug Rothwell and Phil Young at 212. With a score

of 214 were Jim Sudal, Gary Nash and Al Muck to round out the money winners.

Fourth place went to Todd Swanson, John Barone, Keith Rothwell and Glen Eck at 215. Finishing fifth, a stroke

behind, at 216, were John Dilley, Vin Paternosh, Mel Allen and Roy McKinnon. The crew of Jim Quinn, Dick Kurek and

John Ellison claimed sixth with a 224.

Leroy Vahl had the lowest net score with a 65 and Jeff Wagner had the low gross shooting an 82.

Skins were won by D. Rothwell, Arcadipane, Muck and Kolpien.

Closest to the pin awards: Eck on No. 2 and Young on No. 17.

Jim Quinn had eight consecutive 5's on holes 7 through 16.

The next outing is scheduled for Monday, Aug. 5 at the Erie Golf Club with the first tee time at 9:30 a.m.
