In November, the association collected toys in conjunction with the Chautauqua County Highway Superintendents' Association for distribution to local children at Christmas;

Financial donations are made to various food cupboards throughout the county every year;

Scholarships have been given to local college students with an interest in public service. The CCMCA encourages continuing education for members by offering scholarships for attendance at statewide training for municipal clerks and, in 2012, five clerks received those scholarships;

The Clerks' Association supports the Southern Tier West Local Government Conference held at Houghton College each spring. The conference provides training for newly elected municipal officials as well as ongoing educational workshops for current officials and staff; and

In 2012, two members of the CCMCA were recognized on the state level. In April, Ellington Town Clerk Karen Bifaro was named NYS District 10 Clerk of the Year by the New York State Town Clerks' Association in Saratoga Springs.
