Janet M. Hollobaugh, 77, of 121 Fairview Ave., Jamestown passed away in WCA hospital on Monday, March 11, 2013.
She was born on Oct. 26, 1935, in Sligo, Pa., the daughter of the late John L. and Florence M. Weaver-Hess. She graduated from North Tonawanda High school and attended Jamestown Business College. Janet retired from Blackstone Corporation/Valeo and also worked at Better Baked in Westfield.
She was a member of the Henry Mosher Post 638 Auxiliary in Falconer and the VFW Auxiliary in North East, Pa..

Surviving are two daughters, Gertrude (Stan Rupczyk) MacDonald of Westfield and Denise Williams of Jamestown; four grandchildren, Rebecca and Blair Rupczyk and Amber and Brandon Williams; and two great-grandchildren, Jordan Rupczyk and Lucas Dooley.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elden Blair Hollobaugh, whom she married on Oct. 30, 1953, and who died April 26, 2012; her son, Daniel Blair Hollobaugh; two sisters, Mary Canaan and Ruth (Douglas) Canfield; and two brothers, Delbert "Boots" Hess (Ernestine) and Grant "Nip" Hess (Anna Ruth).
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 23, in the Falconer Funeral Home. Rev. Timothy Phelps, Chaplain from Hospice, will officiate. Friends will be received an hour prior.
