Terry J. Allenson, 65, of Jamestown passed away Monday (March 11, 2013) in St. Vincent's Hospital in Erie, Pa.
He was born Aug. 22, 1947, in Jamestown, the son of the late Elliot and Marion Taylor Allenson.
Terry was a graduate of Bemus Point High School, and prior to retirement he was employed by Barton and Tool as a tool and die maker. He was a past member of the Busti Men's Group, Ellery Rod and Gun Club, the War Vets and the Falconer Moose Club. Terry enjoyed all sports, bowling, baseball, golfing and NASCAR.

Terry is survived by his wife, Alberta G. Allenson whom he married May 31, 1997; two sons, James Allenson and Chris (Jill) Allenson of Jamestown; a daughter, Dana (Brian) Robinson of Grand Island, N.Y.; five step-children, Daniel Kelsey of Sherman, Frank (Kim) Kelsey of Sherman, Patrick (Cathy) Kelsey of Mayville, Barbara (Howard) Peacock of Stow and Jessica Sloan of Sherman; eight grandchildren; 17 step-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Barbara(Brian) Swanson of Jamestown and Gayle Harnish of Jamestown.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Dave Harnish.
The funeral service was Thursday, March 14 at 8 p.m. in the Falconer Funeral Home, where Rev. John Bowen of the Open Meadows United Methodist Church of Stow officiated. Friends were received by the family from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday in the funeral home.
