WESTFIELD - The Chautauqua County Historical Society's board of trustees recently held its first meeting of 2013 at the McClurg Museum in Westfield. During the meeting, the organization finalized its programs and events schedule for this year.
The historical society's first event of 2013 will be the organization's annual Meeting at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 20 at the Westfield Methodist Church. The annual meeting will not only feature an annual report on the status of the organization, but also a luncheon and a presentation on the "Milk Bottles of Chautauqua County and Their Stories" to be delivered by local dairy history expert and milk bottle collector Alberta Oonk of Clymer.
The annual meeting and presentation are free to attend, but anyone wishing to have lunch is asked to pay $15 per person, with a deadline for reservations by Tuesday, April 16. To make a reservation, call 326-2977 or email email@example.com.
