WESTFIELD - Edward A. Wood, 43, of Felton Rd., Westfield was charged with criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument and speed in zone on Monday, Feb. 4.
According to the police office, a patrolman on E. Main St., in the Village of Westfield allegedly observed a vehicle at a high rate of speed for zone around 10:15 p.m. Upon further investigation, the vehicle was allegedly found to be operated by Wood. Wood was allegedly found to be in possession of hypodermic instruments, or syringes. Wood was charged and will appear in Westfield Village Court on a later date to answer said charges.
