WESTFIELD - Doris Veit of Westfield recently donated 100 pairs of booties to Absolut Care of Westfield to keep residents warm.
Veit started making the booties right after Christmas last year and finished in December 2012, giving them out at the resident's Christmas party on Dec. 21, 2012. Veit worked hard all year and there isn't a pair of booties alike.
Residents can be seen wearing these booties daily because they love them so much. All of the residents and staff at Absolut Care of Westfield thank Veit for her donation.
