FREDONIA - Mark Dzielski, 27, of Brocton was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of hypodermic needles, having a controlled substance not in its original container, unlicensed operator and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation on Tuesday, Jan. 29.
According to the police office, members of the State Police Barracks at Fredonia arrested a man for possession of controlled substances. While on patrol, troopers found a man apparently sleeping in his car behind the Country Fair store at the intersection of State Route 60 and State Route 20. Dzielski was allegedly found asleep in his car with a hypodermic needle stuck in his left arm. Emergency personnel were called to the scene, and Dzielski allegedly signed off medical treatment and was released to state police personnel. Dzielski was allegedly found to be in possession of heroin and Xanax and was arrested and processed at the Fredonia barracks. He was issued appearance tickets and will appear in Pomfret Town Court on a later date.
