Sheriff Gerace elected trustee of N.Y. sheriffs’ association

ALBANY - Chautauqua County Sheriff Joseph Gerace was elected trustee of the Executive Committee of the New York State Sheriffs' Association on Wednesday, Jan. 23 at the 79th annual Winter Training Conference.

New York State Lieutenant Governor Robert J. Duffy swore in Sheriff Gerace.

The New York State Sheriffs' Association, Inc., is a not-for-profit corporation formed in 1934 for the purpose of assisting sheriffs in the efficient and effective delivery of sheriffs' services to the public. It comprises all of the elected and appointed sheriffs of New York State.
