Sheriff's office looking for information on vehicle breakins

MAYVILLE - The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office is investigating several vehicle breakins which have occurred over the last week.

Subjects have entered several cars in the town of Portland, town of Pomfret and village Brocton. Items reported missing include CD players, GPS units, loose change and anything else that is easily accessible. Suspects may be using bicycles to get around during the larcenies, which are occurring late at night. The Sheriff's office is reminding vehicle owners to lock their car doors and put valuables away.
