Lyle G. Abbey, 78, of 46 Cedar Dr., Kennedy, died Dec. 18, 2012, after a long illness. He was a Korean War Veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He was the husband of the late Phyllis Brown Moore, who died in 2004; father of Richard Brown, Ethel Scott, Deeletta Whitehill, Keith Abbey and Carrie Abbey; and has several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A private family service was held Friday, Dec. 21 at Quincy Cemetery, Ripley N.Y. Arrangements are by the Fantauzzi Funeral Home, 82 E. Main St., Fredonia N.Y.
