Get out for some fresh air with the Chautauqua County Hiking Club. On Sunday, Dec. 30 at 1 p.m., the club will meet at the Great Tree Inn in Mayville, 6642 E. Lake Rd., or Route 430.
The group will follow the trail north from Route 430 for about an hour and then return. This will be an easy outing. If there is snow, bring snowshoes or cross-country skis. Even beginners will enjoy this trail. Be sure to bring water.
After the hike, there will be hot cocoa and cookies at the Great Tree Inn. Hosts at the Great Tree are the new owners, and club members, Mark and Sheila.
Those planning to attend should let coordinator Eileen Campbell know by calling 548-3417.
