WESTFIELD - Gladine L. Lincoln, 91, of 34 Academy St., Westfield, N.Y., died Tuesday (Dec. 4, 2012) at Absolut Care of Westfield.

She was born March 15, 1921, in Dewittville, N.Y., the daughter of the late Grace (Shoemaker) and William Clark.

Gladine enjoyed reading, puzzles, music, traveling, cards, playing board games with the grandchildren and embroidering. Most of all she enjoyed picnics and holiday gatherings with her family.

She was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 6764 Auxiliary of Westfield.

She is survived by her, daughter Lillian (Earl) Saunders of Westfield; one son, Charles Raynor of Tennessee; one brother, Carlon Clark of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Lincoln; her daughters, Merrie Smith and Nadine Newman; a son, Clarence Lincoln; a sister, Grace Brown-Kingsley; and two brothers, Stanley Osborne and Guerney Clark.

The funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 7 in the Freay Funeral Home in Mayville. Rev. Gary Henry officiated. Burial was in the Portland Evergreen Cemetery. The family received friends from 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday in the funeral home.
