WESTFIELD - A 17-year-old Westfield male youth was charged with curfew on Tuesday, Oct. 30.

According to the police department, officers were investigating an alleged suspicious situation on E. Main St., in the Village of Westfield and were speaking to two young males. During the investigation, it was allegedly found one male was 17 years old and was out past curfew. The male was issued an appearance ticket and is due in Westfield Village Court on a later date.

WESTFIELD - Bryan Oneil Rodriguez-Morales, 19, of E. Main St., Westfield was remanded to Chautauqua County Jail on charges of second-degree harassment, second-degree obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest, assault on a police officer and fourth-degree criminal mischief on Saturday, Nov. 3.

According to the police department, officers were investigating an alleged suspicious male on E. Second St., in the Village of Westfield around 12:45 a.m. Officers did check the male, due to the recent car larcenies in the area. While investigating the incident, officers allegedly observed Rodriguez-Morales acting very nervous and tossing something into the grass next to him. He then walked over to a police officer and allegedly grabbed him by the arm, attempting to pull the officer. As Rodriguez-Morales was advised he was under arrest and not free to leave, he allegedly began to flee officers on foot. Officers caught him in the street, and he allegedly began to physically fight with officers. He allegedly continued to fight and not respond to officers' commands. During the fight, Rodriguez-Morales also allegedly bit an officer multiple times. While in the back of a Westfield police vehicle after being place in custody, he allegedly kicked and damaged the car. Rodriguez-Morales was arraigned in Westfield Village Court. He was unable to post bail and was remanded to jail on $15,000 cash or $30,000 property. He will appear in Westfield Village Court on a later date.
