How sad it is to sit at Ron's
and see the parents of a favorite son
lost to us from act of ward
See them with the one remained
Never to see them both at once
out for a Sunday brunch together
Lost just after target one's demise
The key to all them being there
will be the yearly reminder for us all
No real smiles on their faces
for such a pleasant afternoon
to be outdoors in sun and breeze
Can sense their memories remain
of other pleasant past days together
