SHERMAN - Many things have been happening in Sherman Central School.
Recently there was a take-out dinner available for area residents. Last Tuesday evening many enjoyed a community dinner at school. It was followed with an open house for the elementary students. The Wildcats won their game on homecoming week, and the court of prince, princess, king and queen were announced during half time of the game.
The school musical "Music Man" will be presented Friday, Nov. 2 and Saturday, Nov. 3 in the school auditorium.
Bill and I enjoyed my birthday celebrations Tuesday, Oct. 9 as we were taken to the Dutch Village for a lovely dinner by Jim and Donna Lee Higginbotham on that night. When we arrived home, we were greeted at the door with "Happy birthday" and lots of hugs from all our children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and an aunt and uncle. Only the two couples who live in Ohio and North Carolina were absent. We were served pies with ice cream, cider and coffee, which topped off our delicious dinner.
