Almost time to close the doors
Time again to kick me out
No more time to spend at Ron's
Musing on the upcoming reunion
Wondering how many alumni will show up
Faces I haven't seen in years
Reminded of the ones we've lost
Too soon from ails or accidents
Steve, Larry, Sue and others
Taken from us way too soon
In my head I can still see their faces
Bringing on a touch of tears
Those that wouldn't be at the reunion
Except in our heads and hearts
Commiserating with the ones still here
Remembering the antics of those now gone
Well it's time to end tonight
And put this pen and sheet to rest
Remembering alumni lost
And pray we lose no more for years.
