Meet Shelly, WSCR's newest rescue. Shelly is a beautiful young female who is up to date on her shots and soon to be spayed. This little girl is a real love bug and loves to be petted. Anyone would like to meet Shelly or any of the other adoptable cats and kittens should call 581-0463 to make an appointment. Like WSCR on Facebook and come visit its second hand store, The Thrifty Kitty, at 59 East Main Street in Westfield. All proceeds from the store benefit the rescue. Sammy, last week's Paw with Potential, is still available.

"For folks who are beagle lovers, I am all beagle. I think that makes me special. I'm a little on the sad side right now as I lost my home and my family because of another landlord who said I wasn't welcome. Nothing other then the fact that I'm a dog. Don't they realize that kids can do a lot more damage then us dogs do? I'm a little over two years old and I speak both English and Spanish, am house trained and will be a very good friend."
