Robert M. Rios, 59, of Market Street, Westfield, was charged with driving while intoxicated, failure to keep right, speed in zone, and unlawful possession of marijuana. On Aug. 6, at 8:53 p.m., officers allege that a vehicle was observed speeding and crossing the center line on Academy Street. During a traffic stop, Rios was allegedly intoxicated and in possession of a small quantity of marijuana. He was taken into custody and later released with traffic tickets and an appearance ticket. He will appear in village court at a later date.

Patrick D. Sinclair, 49, of Clinton Street, Westfield, was charged with trespass. On Aug. 7 at 4:18 p.m., police responded to a report of a male subject trespassing in the back yard of a residence on North Water Street. The subject had allegedly been warned multiple times to stay off the property. Officers located the subject, who identified himself as Sinclair. He was allegedly found to have an active arrest warrant from the city of Dunkirk. He was taken into custody and later turned over to the Dunkirk police department. He will appear in village court at a later date.

Sabastian Lindstrom, 20, of 9 Oak St., Westfield, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana after an incident on Aug. 8. At approximately 1:18 a.m., officers responded to 54 South Portage St. to follow up on criminal mischief complaints that took place earlier in the evening. Upon arrival, officers allegedly smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from behind the residence. After further investigation, Lindstrom was found with two baggies of marijuana in his possession. He will appear in village court at a later date.

David D. Fuller Jr., 35, of 39 North Portage St., Westfield, was charged with possession of open container after an Aug. 14 incident. At about 1:17 a.m., officers allegedly observed Fuller on Clinton Street in possession of open container, which was found to contain an alcoholic beverage. He will appear in village court at a later date.
