Blue Heron Music Festival

The Blue Heron Music Festival will be held July 3 through July 5 at 2361 Wait Corners Road, Sherman. The event is a three-day celebration of music and dance on 300 acres in the Amish countryside. Programming includes roots, rock, Zydeco, blues, old-time and blue-grass bands. Food, all night dance tent, camping and swimming.

Findley Lake Fire Department Chicken BBQ

The Findley Lake Volunteer Fire Department will hold a chicken barbeque at the Findley Lake Fire Hall from noon till gone. Cost is adults, $7; children 11 and under, $5. 1/2 chicken only, $5. For takeouts, please call 769-7321.

Findley Lake July 4th Celebration

Findley Lake will be holding a Fourth of July celebration from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. A full day of family fun, including a boat parade at 2 p.m., chicken barbeque at the Findley Lake Volunteer Fire Department at noon, a flare lighting around the lake at 9:30 p.m. and a fireworks display at 10 p.m.

Mayville July 4th Celebration

There will be a Fourth of July celebration from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. in Mayville at the Lakeside Park. A full day of family fun, the event features a parade at 10 a.m., live music, displays, food, kiddy rides, games and fireworks display at 10 p.m.
